Cooling Water Recovery System
The Allpax retort cooling water recovery system (CWRS) is a closed loop system wherein water used for the cooling cycle of the retort process is reused instead of discharged into the drain. This greatly reduces the amount of what is typically a wasted resource. Water usage is reduced by more than 50% in this application. The system is also capable of recovering heat energy from hot water that would otherwise be discharged to the drain.
